Martin Buser drives Xtreme Weather team

Martin Buser visited Washington DC April 25th 2008 to give a speech at the Marriot Wardman for the Orthopedic Foundation.  Martin made his grand entrance on one of our Arctic Star sleds pulled by our main racing team.  Storm and Ozark led the way wile Tundra, Alaska, and Isis followed through the grand ball room in front of over 200 doctors and speakers to take Martin Buser to the main podium for a talk and slide show presentation on the Iditarod.  Jessica and I feel honored that we were able to provide Martin with our dogs and equipment for his big presentation.  When we first arrived Martin greeted us warmly with a hand shake and a smile and almost immediately started to talk dogs with us.  Martin shared tips and stories as he spent all his time before the speech petting the dogs and having a laugh with us.  Reggie Brown from Blur of Fur Kennels provided us with the extra support we needed to make this work smoothly.  Nancy Molburg from Arctic Star racing sleds and Team and Trail magazine was also along to do a story for an upcoming issue.  I thank them both for coming, we could not have made this work as well as we did without Reggie's help and I cannot wait to read Nancy's article in the next issue of Team and Trail Magazine.  Click on the link below to view some pictures that we were able to capture during this great day.  Unfortunately some did not turn out so well due to lilting problems however it still paints a picture of a once in a life time opportunity for us.  Thank you Martin from the bottom of our hearts, we will never forget this day!!
