In 2004 Chris and Jessica came together with a mutual interest in animals. Chris already owing a Siberian Husky named Storm, and interested in sled dog racing, Jessica soon joined Chris on the start of their sled dog adventure. They soon joined the PSDC (Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club) in hopes to find guidance and knowledge in the sport. What we found was much more, we found a family. Chris and Jess soon started to build there kennel using show prominent dogs to start. As they grew in the sport they soon started using racing bred Siberians in their kennel, finding that particular blood lines in Siberians are much better sled dogs. Currently Chris and Jessica own 9 dogs, focusing on limited 4 and 6 dog pure bred racing.
On September 10th 2007 Chris asked Jessica to be his wife, on November 15th 2008 they became husband and wife. Even though sled dog racing takes up most of their life, Chris and Jessica also enjoy motorcycle riding, hiking and camping. Chris is an avid hunter and fisherman. Jessica enjoys gardening, and crafts.
Chris Bannister
Born in New Jersey, Chris moved around allot at a young age. Only living in New Jersey till the age of 3 his family moved to Delaware until he was 14. At age 14 he moved with his family to Minnesota. Learning most of his life skills in Minnesota, Chris grew a love for hunting, fishing, martial arts, motorcycle racing, and dog sledding. Chris purchased his first dog from a breeder in Rush City Minnesota. At age 23 Chris moved back to the east coast to be closer to his family. He now lives in North East, Maryland working as a commercial truck driver for a holistic pet food distributor.
Jessica Bannister
Born in Lewis, Delaware, Jessica and her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland when she was a baby. Jessica grew up and lived in Baltimore until she had met Chris. Jessica enjoys crafts, gardening, and animal care. She is now married to Chris and works in Oxford, Pennsylvania as a Veterinarian Technician.
